Cedar Mountain Drums

Hoop Making

For the past two years, we have been making our own drum frames from Alaskan Yellow Cedar.  Alaskan Yellow Cedar has been used by tribes in the Pacific Northwest for Centuries, and because of its long fiber and healing properties, makes a superior yet light drum frame.  Dave, Mandi and I have been learning the process, and I am delighted to offer these to our customers.
